A self-guided audio walk that follows two Christmas films, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) and Elf (2003), across Manhattan and into Central Park. Twelve stops and 4.1 miles (6.6 km) on foot, from Fifth Avenue at West 30th Street past the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and Carnegie Hall, ending at 55 Central Park West. Allow about two hours: 87 minutes on foot and 17 minutes of listening.
At each stop you hear where a scene was filmed, what happens in it, and the stories told of how it was shot. Each stop is a card with a photograph, a fact, narration to hear and read, and links to its sources. Every stop is seen from outside. Entry to buildings and rinks isn't included.
