No account is required to buy or use tours. The tour opens on the phone you buy it on. To open it on another phone or browser, go to My Tours and enter the email you paid with and the order reference from your receipt page (for a Viator booking, the booking reference on your ticket).

Verythere works on any modern smartphone: both iOS (iPhone) and Android. Tours work through our web app, so there's no separate app to download.

You can purchase and start using a tour immediately, or buy in advance, whichever works for you. Tours never expire once purchased, so you have lifetime access.

Open the tour in your phone's browser and the map uses your phone's GPS to lead you to each stop. When you reach a stop, tap to hear its story: on most tours you tap Listen, and on card walks a card opens and you tap Flip. The story does not start by itself, so keep your phone at hand as you reach each stop.

You can pause a story at any time and play it again when you are ready. Keep the tour open in your browser as you walk between stops. Your purchase does not expire, so you can walk the tour again on another day.

On card walks, yes. Tap Skip this stop to move on (you can collect it later from its pin), tap the pin of a stop you have passed to see its card again, or tap a later stop's pin to go straight to it. On other tours the stops play in order: you can skip or replay a story, but not jump between stops.

It depends on the tour. Where a tour page shows a walking time, that is the time on foot, and the stories add a few minutes at each stop. Take as long as you like: stop for coffee or take photos along the way.

Yes! One purchase allows you to share your screen with travel companions. For a truly shared experience, consider purchasing multiple copies so everyone can listen at their own pace.

No. Keep mobile data on during the walk: each stop's story loads when you reach it, and a tour will not open without a connection. If your phone plan charges for data where you are going, check the rate before you go.

Roughly 1 MB per minute of narration, plus a little for each stop's photo and 1 to 2 MB for the map at the start. Each tour page shows its own figure. Nothing needs to be downloaded in advance.

GPS works best outdoors with a clear view of the sky: tall buildings can affect accuracy. On card walks, tap I'm here when you reach a stop and its card opens.

Yes. Keep the tour open in your browser for the whole walk: the map and the stops need it. Each story starts when you tap Listen or Flip, so have your phone at hand as you reach each stop.

GPS usage does consume battery. We recommend starting with a fully charged phone or bringing a portable charger for longer tours. Enabling low-power mode may affect GPS accuracy.

Tours cost $7.99 to $14.99, depending on length and content. This is a one-time purchase with lifetime access: no subscriptions or hidden fees.

Yes. We offer a 24-hour refund policy. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

Never. Once you purchase a tour, you have lifetime access. Take the tour as many times as you want, whenever you visit that destination.
