Nassau Cruise Port Audio Tours
Every tour begins within a short walk of Prince George Wharf, Nassau's main cruise terminal. Load before you sail and start exploring the moment you dock.

Downtown Nassau Heritage Walk
The essential Nassau walk. From the pink-columned Parliament Square to the Queen's Staircase carved by enslaved people in the late 1700s, this tour traces Nassau's journey from colonial outpost to independent nation. Covers Government House, Christ Church Cathedral, and the stories behind the pastel-colored buildings that line the hillside above the harbor.

Pirates of Nassau: The Golden Age
Nassau was the pirate capital of the world. Between 1706 and 1718, Blackbeard, Charles Vane, Anne Bonny, and over a thousand other pirates made this harbor their base. This tour walks you through the exact locations where pirate history happened — the harbor they controlled, the taverns they frequented, and the fort that finally ended their reign. If you watched Black Sails, this is where it all took place.

Bay Street & Market Walk
Bay Street is Nassau's commercial spine, running from the cruise port along the waterfront. This tour covers the famous Straw Market, the historic shops and trading houses, Junkanoo Beach, and the evolving waterfront. Learn how this single street has shaped Bahamian commerce for centuries — from rum running during Prohibition to the duty-free shopping district it is today.

Nassau Cruise Port: What to Know Before You Dock
Getting Off the Ship
Nassau's Prince George Wharf is directly downtown. Walk off the ship, through the terminal building, and you're on Bay Street — the heart of the city. No taxi, no shuttle, no transfer needed. It's one of the most walkable cruise port arrivals in the Caribbean.
Walking Distance
Downtown Nassau is compact. Parliament Square is a 5-minute walk from the terminal. The Queen's Staircase is about 15 minutes uphill. Fort Charlotte is the farthest major attraction at roughly 25 minutes. All three of our tours stay within comfortable walking range of the port, entirely on paved roads and sidewalks.
Time in Port
Most ships spend 7-9 hours in Nassau. You can comfortably complete all three tours in a single port day with time left for the Straw Market, lunch, or a drink at Junkanoo Beach. Each tour runs 30-50 minutes depending on your pace and how long you linger at each stop.
Offline-First Design
Bahamian cellular data is expensive for visitors. Every Verythere tour loads completely in your browser — audio, maps, and GPS triggers all work without any internet connection. Load over your ship's Wi-Fi or at home before you sail. Your phone's GPS works independently of data service.
